NGLAH Release Single ‘The Sound Of Violence’

Share This:

As Alice Springs burns images of destruction across the national media, today Central Australian heavy act, NGLAH, release the film clip for their track The Sound Of Violence from their debut album BREATHE.

NGLAH are an amalgamation of emotive sounds and eery melodies. They draw influence from classic acts such as Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath and blend the modern sounds of Gojira, Mastodon and Tool into the mix. On The Sound Of Violence, NGLAH seamlessly shift through atmospheric layers of tension and dissonance. “It was actually the first song we wrote together” says singer Leon Spurling. “It really solidified the chemistry we have as a band. We found that rare spark.”

“The initial idea was around the issues in Alice” Leon explains. “The work I do dealing with domestic violence has inspired it. But it goes beyond that. Wondering where the world is heading. Is it Broken? I don’t feel it is. But we don’t know where we’re going.”
