Less than two weeks away, Hunter Valley’s newest punk, rock and metal extravaganza Thrashville, is pleased to announce its official timetable for 2017’s inaugural event.
Headlined by two Aussie icons of the punk genre, Cosmic Psychos and Hard-Ons, the event also features an array of rising Australian acts, such as Clowns, WAAX and the thundering riffage of The Neptune Power Federation.
In honour of two iconic Australian rock musicians, two adjacent stages will be known as “The Malcolm Stage” and “The Angus Stage”.
Thrashville will also feature beloved Australian comedian and “Classic Stitch-Up” internet sensation Aaron Gocs as its MC.
The one-day camping festival at revered bushland venue Dashville, in Lower Belford, will also feature scrumptious food from esteemed local food trucks: smoked meats from Honeysuckle’s MEET restaurant, Nepalese dumplings from O!momo and top-shelf Mexican from Opie Funk.
The event will include live graff art installations, some wild disc golf competition and skateboard displays on Dashville’s very own half pipe.
Similar to other Dashville events, Thrashville will also host a major fundraising raffle in support of The Black Dog Institute, a not-for-profit organisation and world leader in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder. An array of prizes are up for grabs, including a ticket to The Gum Ball, signed skateboard, merch packs and more.
