[NEWS] THE APPICE BROTHERS Announce Support Acts

Fans of Vinny and Carmine Appice and drummers around the country are waiting with anticipation since late September’s news that the
legendary brothers will be touring Sydney and Melbourne in February next year with their Drum Wars show!

Today the Appice Brothers band and also the opening acts on the tour can be revealed.

Standing front and centre will be Chas West on vocals. Chas has sung for some of the worlds greatest rock bands including Jason Bonham Band, Lynch Mob, Foreigner and Jake E Lee

On guitar will be Mike Mills. A true professional musician, Mike has released 17 albums under the Toehider band name and recently worked with Vinny Appice on Mainly Songs About Robots.
Mike has worked on the Ayreon project with famed Dutch composer Arjen Lucassen which is one of the most ambitious heavy music projects ever undertaken.

Locking in the rhythm section will be Andy Dowling. Andy’s work with one of Australia’s finest power metal bands, LORD, has taking him all over the globe.

Joining the bill for the Sydney Drum Clinic event are:
Former Hazmat bassist and now solo artist Stu Tyrrell is a classically trained, multi instrumentalist who will deliver a stunning set of his Celtic folk inspired acoustic songs.
Dio Driver – The Australian Dio Tribute Show who will be playing a selection of the late great vocalists hits from Dio, Black Sabbath and Rainbow

At the main Drum Wars Sydney show, Sydney’s hardest working rock and roll band, Devine Electric will get the evening off to an energetic start with their four on the floor, all out, passioned old school rock before Dio Driver takes the crowd on a journey through Ronnie’s legacy once again.

In Melbourne, both the Drum Wars show and the Drum Clinic will be opened by Dio Driver.
