Brisbane female fronted symphonic metal band Seraphic have just released the second single off their highly anticipated debut release “Journey To Illumination“.
“The Final Act” showcases the beautiful vocals of Sam Wolstenholme over darker riffs and a progressive style of songwriting. It is the final track on the album and it slows things down a little to really give a dramatic and theatrical end to the musical journey you just undertook.
“The Final Act illustrates our take on the answers to some of lifes biggest questions – the paradox of the human condition, the debate surrounding nature vs nurture, whether there really is a purpose to human existence – and concludes that being able to face the unknown, and accept our own imperfections, is the key to our survival,” vocalist Sam Wolstenholme says.
“The Final Act was the obvious choice to feature as our main single. It is our darkest and heaviest track, yet it is also our boldest, most progressive and most adventurous; we believe it’s a good indication of the direction we will take with our music in the future,” Wolstenholme says.
Seraphic chose to release this track alongside a lyric video as they were very proud of the lyrics and message it portrayed and they worked with producers at Multitude Creative to bring the song to life.
“Our video producers Multitude Creative did an amazing job with the video; their artistic direction and clever editing really brought the music and the lyrics to life. They were very professional and such a pleasure to work with, and we couldn’t be happier with the result!” says Wolstenholme.
