Sunday the 5th of Feb was the start of a new residency at the Bearded Lady in West End that will host a new line up of musicians showcasing their improvisational prowess every week.
For the opening week, the patrons and musicians witnessed quite a miracle. Unknowingly, organiser Ofa Fanaika (Chocolate Strings; Captain Dreamboat) found herself in conversation with the drummer of Guns N’ Roses, Frank Ferrer and invited him up onto the Bearded Lady stage to jam with the local musicians of 4101 – all caught on video by Thea Schroder of Silent Haitch.
Watch the 10-minute long gospel jam.
