Melbourne record label services and distribution company Rocket has announced the long-term host of triple j’s The Racket and ex-touring vocalist of Thy Art Is Murder (2016), Lochlan Watt, as Label Manager and A&R for EVP Recordings who look after Behemoth, King Parrot and Psycroptic.
Watt’s first signing to the label is Melbourne’s PAGAN who winners of this year’s triple j Unearthed UNIFY competition.
Watt will also work with recent local Rocket label acquisition, Human Warfare, and their debut release of the forthcoming Thy Art Is Murder album.
Other key Rocket label partners (withing the metal genre) in Australia include Metal Blade, Relapse, Season Of Mist, Napalm and Peaceville/Kscope.
