New music From FAT PIGEON

Musically: Overstake is heavily influenced by Parkway Drive, we really admire their music and tried to replicate it in a way that was unique and fresh. We also wanted something that really got people moshing at a live show, with chunky riffs and a slapping breakdown.

Lyrically: As written by our Vocalist Jo “Overstake explores the many friendships that I’ve had during high school and how everyone is different. The main idea of the song is about a conflict between two people, they both have things to apologise for yet they don’t want to admit it. Because of this, they tear their friendship apart. It’s pretty much a song about how friends come and go and how sometimes they can go out with a bang.

Four piece high school band from Darwin, Australia

Fat Pigeon have stapled themselves into the Darwin music scene with their hard-hitting riffs and mental live shows. The band have played the big stage at Bass In The Grass and also supported the likes of Australian Crawl, Killing Heidi and Tapestry. Still in high school, the future is bright for these four young metalheads.

Genre:  Metalcore/Hardcore
