Espionage is a heavy metal band based in Melbourne, Australia that formed in early 2014. After taking the Australian metal community by storm, the band is ready and hellbent on capturing the ears of the rest of the world with their unique brand of electrifying heavy metal.
Espionage have played shows in Australia extensively over the years, appearing at many festivals and touring in support of their widely acclaimed independent releases Wings of Thunder (2016) and the full-length debut Digital Dystopia (2018).

The band have earnt themselves a fearsome reputation for their energetic live shows with an emphasis on high soaring vocals by frontman extraordinaire and thundering bassist Andrew ‘Frosty’ Morris, twin guitar harmonies blended with tasteful shredding and memorable riffs by axemen Denis Sudzuka and Alex Richmond, topped off with the tightly packed punch of the drums by James Shelverton. With a style reminiscent of the glory days of heavy metal music in the 1980s, the band does well to combine these aforementioned qualities with a modern twist, creating something familiar while remaining unique.
April 2020 will see the release of the band’s first 7” vinyl single, “Arrow of Time”, to be released via Rue Morgue Records. Thet are currently writing their next release; a concept album titled Wasteland of the Wicked, penned for 2021.
