Melbourne indie, The Neon Spectrum, follows a young woman (Stephanie Gonelli) travel from the UK to Melbourne to track down her estranged father. Along the way she meets a homeless muso (Joshua Orpin), a kind elderly man (Trevor Hanna) and a cowardly performer (Pat Moonie). A touching story about your friends becoming family.
From filmmaker Lee Galea, who won best film at the 2013 Melbourne Queer Film Festival for Monster Pies, which played to great success on the queer film festival circuit around the world.
