Italian Splatter Brutal Gore Massacre. These are the words that lay inside the sleeve of the debut album from Necrotorture and it perfectly sums it all up.
Being active for well over a decade now, Gore Solution provides a vicious assault encased with the brutality one would expect from Italy’s extreme underground scene. The album does not let up. It maliciously pounds away with the charge led by vocalist Alex Manco (Ex Hour Of Penance) interchanging between his deep growls to piercing guttural squawks.
Timing and strong structures have been well thought out and they never let you out of their grasp. There are no skipping tracks on this. Nor does it rely on a stock standard approach that could have certainly presented itself after the exceptional Blood Feast and Exploring Ways of Flesh EPs.
Production levels without doubt have been elevated as all instruments become an untamed collective, formulating the plan for attack. What genuinely stands out is the manner that Beneventi and Corico seem to be able to so perfectly meld speed with dooming riffs which propel the songs up onto another level of aggression. The interlocking between drummer Santilli and bassist Rinaldi completes the formidable structure that is Gore Solution, as they never stray away from the course of what the music at the end of the day was set out to accomplish.
All in all you can unquestionably know that Necrotorture are one of the true Brutal Death Metal bands out there that take what they release seriously
Gore Solution out now through Severed Records.
