From child prodigy to cancer survivor, from global stages to mental health collapse, Nathan Cavaleri’s journey is anything but ordinary, and now he’s taking his life story to theatres across Australia this year for Growing Pains – The Nathan Cavaleri Story.
Kicking off with the first announce of what will be an epic national tour (stay tuned) on Saturday 20 June at Kingston City Hall in Moorabbin, Cavaleri’s Growing Pains Theatre tour will journey across regional Australia, moving through to Mildura, Swan Hill, Pakenham, St Kilda, East Gippsland, Wonthaggi, Nunawading, Portland, Hamilton, Ararat, Warrnambool, and Taree, before completing the extensive run at Avoca Beach Theatre on Saturday 28 November.
In this deeply personal and emotionally charged solo show, told by Cavaleri through story and song, Cavaleri skilfully weaves music and storytelling into a powerful narrative that traces his life from busking in Campbelltown to the heights of stardom, the depths of anxiety and burnout, and the eventual rediscovery of purpose and passion.
