Motörhead have claimed responsibility for a series of mysterious, ghoulish projections across German cities on Halloween Eve. On Sunday night, a series of buildings were lit up with curious projections of legendary Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister winking knowingly at passers-by before morphing into a grisly apparition of the bands famed Warpig emblem; snarling, breathing fire and dripping blood.
The projections were set-up as part of a promotion for the band’s most definitive collection of their loudest songs ever – EVERYTHING LOUDER FOREVER. Projections of Lemmy morphing into a frightening Warpig appeared on buildings across Munich, Hamburg and Berlin, with locations including the famous Alexanderplatz right in the very heart of Berlin.
Motörhead… a life force, an energy, an attitude and the loudest, meanest, dirtiest music to smash the 20th and 21st centuries. With a bastard sound comprising an unholy synergy of rock, punk and heavy metal, Motörhead come coated in relentless, ear-curdling power. They were life-changing for millions.
And now, for the first time ever, you can celebrate Motörhead’s entire career with the definitive collection of their greatest hits, Everything Louder Forever.
