MO’S DESERT CLUBHOUSE Enters HALL OF FAME

Share This:

Mo’s Desert Clubhouse is absolutely stoked to be awarded the prestigious Gold Coast Music Venue of the Year 2024 award for the third time and have now entered the Gold Coast’s Hall of Fame as the first music venue to do so in the awards history. Alongside Amy Shark, Mo’s Desert Clubhouse has been recognised as the best live music venue in the city.

Independently owned by three local creatives, with no large financial backers or companies, no pokies or gambling sites to assist with costs, the venue has grown from strength to strength in its 5 year history. Hosting thousands of music fans and hundreds of original musicians each year, Mo’s Desert Clubhouse truly is a clubhouse for creatives. Boasting a large psychedelic warehouse as its live music hall, full production, two licensed bars, a cocktail garden, co-working offices, podcast studios, recording studios and rehearsal studios, Mo’s Desert Clubhouse is a one stop shop for those looking to see live music on the Gold Coast.

Through taking out the first place again in this award it has entered the venue into the Hall Of Fame, the first venue to ever do so at the Gold Coast Music Awards, really situating Mo’s into the iconic staples of the city’s cultural scene. Mo’s has even had its own theme song written about it by local band Wharves, the backing track to the acceptance of the Venue of The Year award.

Mo’s gig guide is all available online via their website www.mosdesertclubhouse.com/whatson with all show tickets available through the platform. To help them celebrate the win, Mo’s is inviting everyone to their 5th Birthday party event on Sunday October 6 as they celebrate in true Mo’s-Style with an 8 band festival line up, a hot tub and a Burning Man dress code.
