MOONDOLL 2023 Submissions Open

Brisbane’s annual Moondoll Festival is fast becoming one of the premiere events on the local calendar.

Despite being plagued by COVID-related issues, this year’s show, which featured Kaosis, Ben Ely, Kallidad, The Wrath and more, was a resounding success.

Continuing with a second stage after it was well received the previous year, Moondoll 2022 showcased an even larger number of Australian acts than ever before, also featuring a variety of visual accompaniments such as dancers and fire twirlers which only added to the comforting nature of the day.

Hosted by music writer and one of the most passionate music supporters in the country, Shannon – Lee Sloane – Moondoll has rapidly grown from a labour of personal love into a celebration of music and culture that gets better every year.

With demand for spots for Moondoll 2022 higher than usual, Shannon has decided to start scouring the land for next year’s acts earlier than usual.

To be held once more at the Mansfield Tavern in early June 2023, Moondoll plans even more surprises for next year to go with some of the best established and up-and-coming artists in Australia.

Submissions for Moondoll 2023 are now open, so if you want to be a part of history shoot your details through to Shannon at [email protected]

Don’t put it off, or you will miss out.
