Mesker is a UK Melodic Hardcore act with an emphasis on the emotional weight of the music to give the music a degree of heaviness.
The band recently released an album, with one of the singles being When The Fabric Frays. The track is about the metaphorical fabric that is our breaking point, being worn down day in and day out without any relief, almost like that’s the way it was intended to be. It’s how long will that fabric last before tearing? Not pointing at anything in particular, it’s meant to be open for people to insert their own stories into it. The whole album has a consistent theme of withstanding whilst going through positive and negative outlooks.
