MARCUS MILLER Returns to Australia in April 2027

Five-time Grammy Award winner Marcus Miller will return to Australia next April for a national tour celebrating one of contemporary music’s true icons.

As a bassist, composer, producer and bandleader, few musicians have played such a pivotal role in shaping modern music. During a remarkable career spanning more than four decades, Miller has collaborated with an extraordinary list of artists including Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Luther Vandross, Aretha Franklin, Bill Withers, Chaka Khan, Beyoncé among many others. His resume reads like a who’s who of modern music. His own recordings, film scores and productions have earned him international acclaim, UNESCO Artist for Peace status and recognition as one of the greatest bass players of all time.

While his career has been built alongside some of music’s biggest names, Miller has forged a sound entirely his own. Blending jazz, funk, soul and R&B with effortless groove, breathtaking musicianship and improvisation, his concerts are never simply displays of technical brilliance. They are living, breathing performances where every player on stage has the freedom to explore, every song can take on a new life, and every audience member can become part of the journey.
