MANSFIELD ROCKS To Go Ahead Minus Victorian Bands

Share This:

Brisbane has felt the first ripple effect from the recent lockdowns imposed on Victorians.

The Mansfield Rocks concert this weekend has been decimated by Victorian bands unable to make it but will still go ahead with the remainder of the bands vowing to carry the flag.

A statement from organisers says: “To all our beloved Mansfield Rockers, with heavy hearts we must announce that our headliner Clowns will not be appearing due to the re-imposition of COVID restrictions in their home state of Victoria and recent border restrictions in Queensland.

This also applies to our two other legendary Vic-based bands, LOSER and Something Something Explosion.

Hysteria, Mansfield Tavern, Vinnie’s Dive and Clowns want to make clear that patron safety is our number one priority. This isn’t a decision we took lightly – or wanted to make at all – but it’s unfortunately out of our hands. We understand your disappointment – we’re bummed too!

But on the flipside, we’re pleased to announce that Clowns will appear at Halloween Hysteria 2021!

You’ll still be able to catch a killer show with C.O.F.F.I.N, Total Pace, Boyscllub, Anty!, Blussh and The Wolston Butchers.

A refund for all tickets will be issued by OzTix. Please allow 7-10 working days for funds to reappear on your credit card (times vary between financial institutions.)

If you still want to rock out in the 4122 this Saturday, tickets will be available at the door for $20.

We hope to see as many of you on the night (and the Vic bands in spirit!)”
