Malved is a musical project created in 2018 by screenwriter, composer and musician Marcelo Cocão. Passionate about horror and science fiction movies, Cocão decided to form a band with the purpose of composing soundtracks for his horror and suspense stories and scripts. After all, nothing goes better with a horror movie than a heavy and dark sound.
The song WORMS was born from the dark depths of the mind of Cocão, screenwriter, composer and creator of the project. Originally composed for the soundtrack of the animation The Cursed Asylum, scheduled for release in November 2025, the track was designed as a sound representation of the psychological terror that permeates the work.
