“Hi legends, this is a deeply personal song as it began as a tribute to my grandfather that fought in ww2 for the Australia alongside our allies (British & American amongst others) and it turned into a letter of gratitude for all of those still fighting for the West, that we owe a debt of gratitude too. We can all agree war is hell but more support should be given to those boys and girls that put their lives on the line for our freedoms, (speech over 🙂 & more support not just when they’re over there but when they come back I don’t have all the answers but maybe more could be done for those that continually put their own lives on the line for people’s freedom they’re never met…hopefully this song does that in a small way….mostly thanks for listening.”
