For the first time in their storied career, LOVE/HATE is set to ignite Australian stages with an electrifying tour celebrating the 35th anniversary of their seminal debut album, Blackout in the Red Room. This landmark event will feature the album performed in its entirety, alongside selections from the entire Love/Hate catalogue.
Released in 1990, Blackout in the Red Room captured the raw energy of the Sunset Strip with tracks like Why Do You Think They Call It Dope?, Rock Queen, and the title track. Whilst the band stood out aesthetically and sonically from their LA counterparts at the time, the album’s influence resonated deeply within the glam, sleaze, hard rock and metal communities, becoming a cult classic celebrated for its rebellious spirit and unforgettable hooks.
Love/Hate is fronted by Jizzy Pearl, a name that needs no introduction given Jizzy stands as a luminary of the Los Angeles metal scene with a career spanning over four decades.
As the frontman of Love/Hate, Jizzy delivered the bands critically acclaimed debut, and then its brilliant follow up Wasted In America. The band has continued to release albums, with the only constant being its frontman, since 1993 and capped by their latest 2025 release, Punk Rock Fiesta!, which has been lauded for its infectious energy and unapologetic sound.
