Upon A Burning Body and Miss May I delivered an awesome show to their fans at The Blind Tiger, on Friday, June 16th, in Greensboro, North Carolina. Upon A Burning Body took to the stage amongst an amazing light and fog show to entertain a small sea of anticipating fans. Their crowd connection was undeniable as they performed song favourites like “Sin City”. Without a barricade, and the band members jumping on speakers at the front of the stage, the band made themselves more accessible to their fans. The enthusiastic fans ran circle pits and moshed for the duration of the set making the venue come alive in the night. There was a noticeable absence from the lineup of their “Turn Down For What” cover, but this still did not disappoint their amazing fans.
Miss May I fans were treated to a light show that put the band in silhouette for most of the set. This achieved the same kind of effect as some of the Norwegian death metal bands. Lead singer, Levi Benton, was very expressive and did not shy away from showing his emotions as they opened with their song “Shadows Inside”. This gave the stage such an electric feel. The band had a very engaged fandom present and a lot of crowd surfers. Overall this stop on the Shadows Inside Tour was very impressive and is sure to have the fans coming back for more!
