Iron Maiden and Ghost did not disappoint at PNC Music Pavilion, on Friday, June 9th, in Charlotte NC. With a crowd size expected to be around eighteen thousand, metalheads got to enjoy metal legend, Iron Maiden, with special guest Ghost gracing the stage beforehand. Ghost opened the show with their hit “Square Hammer”, quickly establishing an incredible crowd connection. Ghost’s whole stage persona is absolutely mindblowing with their masked and dark appearance and stage set up. The nameless ghouls kept things very lively on the stage with their mysterious appearance and high energy movements. This aids in giving lead singer, Tobias Forge, that extra feel of creepy to hook their audience in entirely.

Iron Maiden then took the stage and they dominated with their theatrics and pyrotechnics. Their stage presence was so vibrant it kept the crowd on their toes. The fans watched in awe as the metal legends owned the stage. It was as if you had stepped into a time machine and gone back to the prime of heavy metal. There was never a dull moment during Iron Maiden’s set, from flames around the stage to a cauldron in the background. Watching legends like Iron Maiden rock a stage no doubt invokes a certain thrill. It was amazing to watch the band’s members and understand the profound effect and inspiration Iron Maiden has had on so many other artists.
