As major companies scramble to stem the fallout from COVID enforced lockdowns, Live Nation Entertainment has announced strict new rules in an attempt to combat the virus.
Staring October 4, 2021, Live Nation Entertainment will require all artists and concert attendees to show either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test.
Following a similar move – minus the negative test – from AEG, Live Nation Entertainment president and CEO Michael Rapino released the following statement.
“Vaccines are going to be your ticket back to shows, and as of October 4th we will be following the model we developed for Lollapalooza and requiring this for artists, fans and employees at Live Nation venues and festivals everywhere possible in the US,”
In addition, Live Nation Entertainment will also be requiring all their employees to be vaccinated as of October 4.
