Live Nation today announces the full line-up for this year’s On The Steps concert series, a fortnight of curated performances on the Sydney Opera House Forecourt, from Tuesday, December 2 to Monday, December 15.
Kicking off Summer in Sydney, this year’s line-up will present 13 unforgettable evenings of world-class performances on the country’s most spectacular outdoor stage, from a diverse array of homegrown and international talent across music and comedy. The program is delivered in partnership with Support Act, with several initiatives designed to raise funds for the charity’s crisis relief services for music industry professionals who are unable to work.
The series launches with Chet Faker on Tue, Dec 2, celebrating the 10th anniversary of his stunning debut album Built On Glass by playing it in full, with special guest Mallrat. Scottish indie-rockers Franz Ferdinand follow on Wed, Dec 3, before a sold-out performance from acclaimed English rapper, writer and producer Loyle Carner on Thu, Dec 4.
The weekend kicks into overdrive with orchestral-electronic spectacular Synthony lighting up the stage on Fri, Dec 5, followed by Australian indie-pop sensations Parcels across two nights on Sat, Dec 6 (Sold Out) and Sun, Dec 7 (final tickets remain).
Homegrown chart-topper Ruel takes the reins on Tue, Dec 9 followed by rock royalty Jimmy Barnes’ powerhouse vocals for a very special Working Class Man 40th anniversary show on Wed Dec 10. New Zealand’s biggest band SIX60 conquer the stage on Thu, Dec 11, before local punk-rock legends The Living End shake the foundations on Fri, Dec 12.
Sat Dec 13 brings a gear shift, with comedy legend Urzila Carlson performing the final show of her sold-out nationwide tour, followed by the lush harmonies of Boy & Bear on Sun, Dec 14. 2025’s On The Steps series closes on Mon, Dec 15, with the GRAMMY award-winning gospel brilliance of Kirk Franklin.
