Legion Music Fest have announced that their crowd funding campaign will go live tomorrow (4 January 2016). According to the festival’s Facebook page, they’re keeping tickets limited for the supporters that have been there from the beginning.
Okay guys…we’re a little bit pumped…LEGION MUSIC FEST 2016 Pozible campaign goes live TOMORROW! We’re keeping tickets limited this year so, because you guys have been with us from the beginning we’re giving you a 24 hour head start. You’ll have access to the pledge packages for 24 hours before the campaign opens to the general public. Keep an eye out here tomorrow morning for a private link that will also include more info. LETS DO THIS!!! \m/ #wearelegion #legionmusicfest
The festival was created when Soundwave Festival pulled up stumps for good on 17 December 2015. The organisers of Legion Music Fest have quickly put this together in time for an Easter Festival in all states.
According to the organisers, we’ll have a few bands announced tomorrow but not all thanks to the Christmas/New Year break.
Because a lot of the guys in USA and Europe have been on Holidays over the last few weeks, we’re still ironing out details with a few of the big headliners, but will definitely have a handful to give you guys tomorrow.
Naturally, after being stung from Soundwave Festival and the great refund blame game debacle, some punters are a bit gun shy without all the information.
Will we get a few bands?
And a pledge ‘is’ a commitment to buy if it goes ahead. Should the line up not appeal you have still pledged to support the event
We sincerely hope everyone gets behind this festival to support the gap left in the heavy music festival scene. And although Legion Music Fest are claiming it’s the first festival of its kind, we can’t help but be reminded of the Alt Fest kickstarter campaign. We have everything crossed that this gets over the line.
