LARGE MIRAGE are turning up the heat, unleashing their new single Wildfire – an exhilarating collision of guitar riffs, soaring melodies, infectious hooks and fearless musicianship, accompanied by an official video clip that is out now, and a single tour that kicked off at BIGSOUND this week and wraps on the big stage at Bonfest in Scotland, UK.
Some bands borrow from rock history, LARGE MIRAGE are writing its next chapter. Following a breakthrough year that has seen the band open two sold-out shows for AC/DC at Accor Stadium, TISM at PICA, headline their own sold-out shows in Sydney and Melbourne, appear at some of Australia’s leading festivals (Woodford Folk Festival, Lost Paradise, King St Summer Crawl, and Meatstock), and build one of the country’s most talked-about live reputations, LARGE MIRAGE return with their biggest statement yet, Wildfire. It’s loud, it’s melodic, it’s emotional, and above all, it moves.
The WILDFIRE SINGLE TOUR 2026 kicked off in spectacular fashion on Thursday 3 September at BIGSOUND in Brisbane, where LARGE MIRAGE took over the Oztix BIGSOUND Party as part of Australia’s most important week for discovering the next generation of artists. From there, the Wildfire tour barrels through Queensland and New South Wales, taking in intimate venues, festival stages and major events before culminating in an international milestone at BONFEST in Kirriemuir, Scotland in April 2027.
