King’s Vengeance have delivered a cocktail of rock, funk and some boogie blues via their new single Keep Moving.
This is their fourth single to date which is lifted from their forthcoming debut LP. While maintaining focus on the present, the Melbourne hard rock band have drawn upon the inspiration of past musical heroes and giants of 60’s and 70’s hard rock. Think of legendary bands such as Thin Lizzy, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and UFO, with a modern twist, drawing upon later period influences such as Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble and The Winery Dogs.
Clocking in at just over four minutes, Keep Moving stands out from previous releases yet remains true to the feel and overall identity of the band. Singer/Guitarist, Dimitri Stathopoulos says of the track: “Keep Moving to us as a band, represents the freedom that we feel as songwriters and the ability to write and perform the music that we want to, without being restricted by any genres or expectations.”
The single launch for the new song will be on Friday, November 17 at The Espy Basement, in St Kilda.
