New Zealand/dubstep hybrid act Kaosis are no strangers to these shores, having decimated crowds a few years back as part of Dead Of Winter in 2019.
They wowed audiences at that show with an energetic and all encompassing stage show that was as entertaining as it was mesmerizing, managing to sway HEAVVY away from their disdain for anything not pure metal to such an extent that we joined them on their subsequent tour of Japan.
Kaosis have been trying to return to Australia ever since, always thwarted by the COVID cloud, but, this weekend, get to capitalize on their earlier efforts with a run of three shows in as many days.
On Friday, June 3, Kaosis will headline Gold Coast Carnage Fest at Mo’s Desert Clubhouse before setting their sights on the headlining spot at Moondoll Festivall 2022 on June 4 at the Mansfield Tavern. On Sunday the band turn their sights at Frankie’s Pizza in Sydney before travelling back across the waters to put the final touches on their next album.
CJ Nash caught up with main man X3N to chat about the shows and everything else happening in the wonderful world of Kaosis.
