Frontier Touring is excited to announce the return of high-octane, GRAMMY®-nominated Icelandic rockers KALEO, bringing their celebrated Way Down Under We Go Tour to Australia and New Zealand in February.
Kicking their latest world tour off with a 28-date run across North America this month, for a band whose music has travelled far beyond the borders of their homeland, KALEO’s rise has been remarkable. Since forming in Mosfellsbær (a suburb of Reykjavik) back in 2012, vocalist and guitarist JJ Julius Son, drummer David Antonsson, bassist Daniel Kristjansson and guitarist Rubin Pollock have built a catalogue that sits comfortably between blues-rock muscle, folk introspection and arena-sized hooks. What began as a local Icelandic phenomenon became a worldwide one with the release of 2016’s A/B, the breakthrough album that delivered enduring singles including Way Down We Go, All The Pretty Girls and No Good.
