Prolific Shihad frontman Jon Toogood will return to Australia this November for a run of shows around the country to celebrate his first solo record, Last Of The Lonely Gods, out October 11 via Warner Music Australia.
Alongside the news comes his soulful new single Gravity. The second offering from the album sees Jon return to his acoustic guitar, contemplating the crossroad in life – deliberating between where you thought you’d end up versus where you are.
“Losing both parents led me to thinking a lot about my own mortality, which in turn led to me writing this tune. I’d been hiding away from the world after my mum passed away and was trying to work out what I wanted my life to look like going forward” says Jon, talking to the new single.
