Melbourne based Metal artist Johnny Bottos has just released his commanding new single Blood Stained Heart, which premiered exclusively via Metal Roos.
“Blood Stained Heart is a heavy metal song that talks about a relationship that was very tough, and I had proof of this person cheating on me,” Bottos explains. “This person meant a lot to me, but it was clear things weren’t fixable. Once we had broken up, I found myself going through a very hard stint of depression. It was one of the worst and hardest times of my life. I even had a suicide attempt that failed, and I’m so grateful it did. “
The new single is the title-track from Johnny’s upcoming album release that is set for release later this year. Bottos teamed up with heavy producer Mike Trubetskov to create his debut album, which focusses on mental health struggles, past trauma and the cathartic release that music can provide for somebody who is suffering.
