Iron Maiden Artwork Banned from Lithuania for Frightening Children

Share This:

It has been reported by Newsweek that a poster advertising Iron Maiden‘s upcoming concert in Lithuania has been banned by the country’s authorities, because it may frighten children. *Insert rolling eyes emoticon.

The poster, which features the Iron Maiden mascot Eddie with glowing red eyes, wearing tribal paint and holding a heart in one hand and a bloodied knife in the other, is deemed not suitable for Lithuanian children. Authorities have ordered the immediate removal of all tour posters. Iron Maiden is scheduled to perform at Kaunas’s 18,000-capacity Žalgiris Arena on June 23.
