Brisbane blackened thrash/death metal act Idle Ruin have dropped their new single Delta Hexatoxin. The track comes off an upcoming full-length album which the band have been busy working on throughout 2022 with Brendan “Pip” Auld at Black Blood Audio, who also recorded their first EP and the split release Malefactors with Germany’s Boundless Chaos.
On the concept of the song, the band states: “The song’s about the bad apple spoiling the bunch, how one individual’s actions can potentially ruin a larger group from the inside out. “Delta Hexatoxin” is the compound within the venom of funnel-web spiders, which can impair one’s nervous system once infused.”
