IDLE RUIN Announce Tour Dates In Support Of Upcoming Album THE FELL TYRANT

After a successful run of shows in late 2022 Idle Ruin are hitting the road again in 2023 in support of their album The Fell Tyrant. The Brisbane three-piece will be launching their album in Brisbane on January 21, before embarking on a run of interstate shows in March.

These will be Idle Ruin’s last Australian shows before relocating overseas, so don’t miss out.

The Fell Tyrant is Idle Ruin’s first full-length, following on from their 2020 self-titled EP and 2022s Malefactors split with Boundless Chaos and was produced and mixed by Brendan Auld at Black Blood Audio (Resin Tomb, Descent, Pustilence) and mastered by Dav Byrne (Shatter Brain, ISUA) at Iridium Audio. The album’s artwork is by Jon Weber (Feculent).

Keeping up with the theme of folklore from Idle Ruin’s hometown of Brisbane, the album title The Fell Tyrant refers to Brisbane’s early days as the Moreton Bay Prison Colony and of its notorious commandant Captain Logan.

The Fell Tyrant will be released on January 21 via Bitter Loss Records.
