HOWLING GIANT Announce U.S. Tour

Share This:

This May, cosmic riff-metal threesome HOWLING GIANT heads back out on tour in support of their latest self-released record, Black Hole Space Wizard Part 2 (August 2017).

To launch their run of East Coast dates with due fanfare, Howling Giant premieres their futuristic update of Pink Floyd obscurity “Matilda Mother” via Metal Injection today at this location, in which the respected outlet calls it, “a massive cover that takes Pink Floyd’s psychedelic years to a whole new, modern metal level.”

Magnetic Eye Records will include the song as part of its colossal The Wall [Redux] / Best of Pink Floyd release extravaganza this fall.  The project has been building in scope and anticipation since early 2017 and features a range of new scenesters and established heavyweights such as Ruby the Hatchet, The Melvins, Domkraft, ASG, Mark Lanegan andSasquatch.  (More info at store.merhq.com/album/the-wall-redux)

With stops throughout the northeast and a coveted slot at Psycho Las Vegas to close out the summer, Howling Giant’s upcoming tour is a great time for East Coast fans of The Sword and Baroness to catch a band Hellbound called, “Sonically… the missing link between Monster Truck and Mastodon.”
