Out now, the track is about abandoning past traumas you are better off without.
“We mixed energetic riffs with atmospheric melodies to create something new for fans. We wanted a wall of sound to hit the listener as soon as that kick hits. ‘Better Gone’ is a track that can be listened to by fans of any genre, not just rock,” the band said.
“Musically, it came together very organically. Chels (Chelcey) had written a song and brought it to Hammy (Andrew) and then they worked on it together before presenting it to the rest of the band. The hook was written a long time ago by Hammy, but we had never found the right place to put it in until writing Better Gone.”
