Adelaide DIY thrashers Hidden Intent have been confirmed and announced to perform at the worlds biggest and most respected heavy metal festival in Wacken Open Air in August this year!
Since releasing their latest and most well-received album Dead End Destiny in February 2021, Hidden Intent have been working harder than a meat mincer in a pie factory, embarking on a number of Australian tours, playing to almost every corner of the country including a bevy of metal festivals, a string of international supports and then wrapping things up in late 2022 with an extensive tour of the USA. Never a band to shy away from doing what it takes to make dreams come true, it appears the tireless efforts have paid off.
The band states: “We are over the bloody moon to announce that after 10 years of hard work, slogging it on the road we have been lucky enough to secure a slot at this year’s Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany! One of the largest heavy metal festivals in the world – A huge achievement for the band. We’ll be joining some of our biggest heroes: Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Anthrax, Kreator, Marty Friedman, Killswitch Engage, Trivium + more!”
