Eora/Sydney heavy outfit Heists have today unveiled their EP Beneath The Surface – produced by Ionei Heckenberg (Ocean Sleeper).
The record melds intensity and vulnerability, pushing the boundaries of modern metalcore while still carrying a sense of weight and grit. Across its tracks, the EP explores betrayal, sacrifice, survival and grief; offering a raw look at the different battles that lie beneath the surface of everyday life.
Guitarist Guy Vears shares: “We wanted to touch on struggles that we all face. Everyone has moments where they’re carrying something heavy, and this EP was our way of exploring those feelings while reminding people they’re not alone in them.”
With Beneath The Surface on the horizon, Heists are set to take things even further. This November, they will embark on their biggest headline tour yet, bringing along Outloved, Signals and St.Sinner for a string of shows. Tickets on sale at heistsau.com
