HEIRLOOM Decides It Is Time To Romanticize

HEIRLOOM is a metalcore band from Raleigh, North Carolina. Their debut EP “The Furthest Corners” was produced by Chris Davis of The Ghost Inside and Texas In July. In 2022, the band confirmed plans to record with multi-platinum selling producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Three Days Grace, Saosin, Of Mice & Men, Issues) at his acclaimed West Valley Recording Studios in Los Angeles, California via Judge & Jury.

From the very first listen you will see how the band’s songwriting is mature. Far from the concept of metalcore as “music for teens”, HEIRLOOM delivers massive riffs, atypical breakdowns, and dark vocal lines. If you mix Killswitch Engage‘s “The End of Heartache” with Chester Bennington‘s vocal lines, you may have an idea of what to expect. All powered by the 5 stars production by Howard Benson and Neil Sanderson.

This week Dave Griffiths managed to catch up with Heirloom to chat about the album.
