To say it has been a massive week in metal would be like saying Lemmy is God – as in stating the obvious.

There has been a mountain of new releases or releases set down for tomorrow, and we caught up with a fair chunk of bands who have something new on the table.

Mastodon made the cover, just coz they’re Mastodon, and we speak with Troy Sanders about the impending double album, Hushed And Grim.

Jerry Cantrell and Every Time I Die both stopped in to talk about their fresh releases, and we also caught up with Sentinels and Non Residents.

There’s a stack of new music from Like Moth To Flames, Equilibrium, Unleashed, Latex Grenade, Devil Electric, Serious Black, Manimal, Lordi, Boston Manor, Mrs. Henry, Wild Giants, Pathology, Northtale, Virgin Black, Carnified, THECITYISOURS, Jerry Cantrell, Battle Beast, Stepfather Fred, Dieversity and Massacre, plus our resident musicspert Jimmy Glinster reviews the new Jackson guitar, the Pro Series Dinky DK Modern Ever Tune 6.

We bring you the latest news from Green Day, The Hellacopters, Orange Goblin, Ivan Moody, Overkill, The Dark Horde, Mayday Parade, Motley Crue, Ocean Sleeper and Cradle of Filth, PLUS we review the upcoming new absolute belter of an album from Bullet For My Valentine, Mastodon’s latest, and the new ones from The Sea Shall Not Have Them and The Dark Horde.

HEAVY Cinema isn’t fucking around either, featuring interviews with the stars of Halloween Kills, Zone 414 and Lair, plus reviews of The Pebble And The Boy, Malignant and Love You Like That.

The new trailers for The 355, Bergman Island and The Ambulance are out, as well as news on all of the new releases from Acorn Media.

Phew, I’m exhausted just typing all of that out.

Enjoy and stay HEAVY
