Grab a group of friends, a torch, a clean pair of underwear, and prepare yourself for the Horror Movie Campout 2016! Following the huge success of both its Adelaide and Melbourne events in 2015, the Horror Movie Campout is coming to Sydney.

The event is Australia’s first horror movie festival and possibly the scariest event to ever hit these shores. Horror Movie Campout (as the name suggests) is a totally immersive, horror, overnight camping experience to be held on Saturday the 12th of March, in the eerie parklands of Mount Penang on the Central Coast.
Campers will be clinging to the edge of their seats throughout the afternoon with a band lineup that includes possessed hard-rockers The Lazys, as well as the ‘Hidden Garden’ featuring DJ Rawhide Kid, roaming scare actors, the ’Death Chamber’ scare maze, and much more.
As darkness falls a massive outdoor cinema will fire up with intense short horror flicks, followed by a double feature of horror films selected by campers’ votes prior to the event.
