Welcome to the Australian Content DigiMag #150!

We celebrate this milestone by publishing a Best Of 2023 edition, featuring Of Mice & Men on the cover, who will be touring this fine country early in 2024. We also feature other international bands about to tour with Wednesday 13, Coal Chamber, Mudvayne and Obituary making the final cut.

But, of course, there’s a heap more Aussie bands to catch up on such as Frankenbok, Torizon, Mick Brew, Buried Shallow, The Last Martyr, Palace Of The King, The Amentga, Frenzal Rhomb, F.U.C, Nur Nh, 28 Days, Devilskin, Blood Command, Temtris, Veal, The Screaming Jets, Snake Mountain, Spacegoat, Osaka Punch, Massic, Werewolves, Mammal, Ebowlagoldfish, King Parrot, Glitorus, Grinspoon, The Poor, PistonFist and The Angels.

There was plenty of new Australian music this year, and we hope to have done justice to that selection by allowing you to revisit tracks from Kaosphere, The Revolation, Battlesnake, Banks Arcade, All This Filth, Mountain Wizard Death Cult, Voyager, The Silencio, BabyBeard, Caligula’s Horse, Systematic Machine, Frankenbok, Plini, Mammal, Pincer+, The Last Martyr, Future Static, New Clear Vision, Torizon, A Somerset Parade, Rose Carlos Band, We The Hollow, Nur NH, Dimensionist, Coffin Carousel, Devilskin, Chavez Cartel, Sunk Loto, Bare Bones, Deadweight80, Audio Reign, Nth Rd, Osaka Punch, The Amenta, Suffer The Evenue, Polaris, Kaosis, Orpheus Omega, Temtris, Snake Mountain, Clowns, Elm Street, PistonFist, The Screaming Jets, Beast Machine, Our Last Enemy, Werewolves, Spacegoat, Emmy Mack & Mikaila Delgado, Carbon Black, Lo!,SuburbiaSuburbia, Make Them Suffer, Wicked Things, Adriatic, Coward Punch and Frenzal Rhomb.

And last, but not least, we have put together some of our favourite album/EP reviews from the last 12 months with F.U.C, Clowns, The Screaming Jets, Nur Nh, Besomora, Taliesin, The Amenta, Raising Ravens, Ne Obliviscaris, Frenzal Rhomb, Our Last Enemy, Osaka Punch, RedHook, Adriatic, PistonFist, The Poor, Temtris, Hard Ons, Battlesnake, Melancolia and Lo!

Thanks one and all for your support this year, and HEAVY looks forward to bringing you even more rock, punk and metal in 2024!

Until then, stay HEAVY
