If you haven’t heard of Danko Jones then you are precisely in the position I was about three weeks ago. Somehow these guys had managed to avoid my earholes for 25 years but after listening to their new album Electric Sounds before chatting with the man himself I was so blown away that Danko was ushered straight to the coveted cover lounge where he has stayed until being let loose in today’s DigiMag.

We also speak with Punk Rock Factory who are coming over for three shows later this month plus we talk to Young Lions about the 10th anniversary of their album Burn. Our recent chat with Barney from Napalm Death has been recycled to welcome the band into the country, and we also bring you an interview with Mudvayne courtesy of Revolver.

Make sure you keep an eye out for HEAVY‘s chat with Chad Gray in the coming weeks.

Tours keep on rolling and this week we bring you up to speed on tours and news from Orpheus Omega, Aces High, Mudvayne & Coal Chamber, Thrashville, Sisters Doll, Skids, NOFX and Mo’s Desert Clubhouse’s 4th birthday bash.

There’s a quick Q&A for you from CIVIC and Downgirl ahead of Thrashville as well as new music from The Amenta, Kaosis and St. Sinner.

If you wanna know what we thought of the new albums from Osaka Punch, Messan, Danko Jones and Polaris it’s all there and to top it off we also review the recent Brisbane show from The Omnific and Thrice‘s sensational Sydney show.

Keep out of trouble,

Until next time, stay HEAVY
