The Australian Content DigiMag Issue #118 is shaping up to be one of our biggest yet!

Metal pioneers Nothing are officially half way through their Self Repair Manifesto concept EP with the release this week of their third single The Shroud. HEAVY caught up with drummer/vocalist Craig Johnson to get up to speed on the riveting series of songs and find out what’s next for the band.

We also speak with Hugs, Liar, Rick Brewster from The Angels, PistonFist, Gutterfire!, Animals As Leaders, Ghostseeker and Emperor plus we wrap up our Backstage At Knotfest videos with chats from Megadeth, Trivium, Bad Omens and Story Of The Year.

Australian thrash outfit Hidden Intent this week were announced as part of Wacken Open Air so find out more about that plus tours from Lo!, Temtris, Regurgitator, Extreme & Living Colour, Polyphia, Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens, Void Of Vision, You Me At Six and Esoteric plus Brisbane’s Paddington Tavern is preparing to come alive to the sound of metal next week when Infectious Rogues launch their new album with help from Dreamkillers, PistonFist, Palladone and Roach Toaster.

HEAVY is proud to premiere the new tracks from Liar and Flitcraft to go with new music from Our Last Enemy, Charvez Cartel, The City, Terra, Ion Sky, The Southern River Band, Holding Absence and Eaten Alive plus our review team took a listen to the new albums from Frenzal Rhomb, Lo!, Dark Blues Project, Babymetal and Silverstein and give their honest opinion on those.

The World Is A Vampire Festival kicks off this weekend on Saturday at Eaton’s Hill Hotel and Sunday at Sandstone Point Hotel, so you know where I will be!

Until next week, stay HEAVY
