With Lagwagon hitting Australia early next year for a run of shows, including both Froth & Fury Festival dates, HEAVY thought it only fitting that we gave the band a cover just so you could all get better acquainted with them before they wreak havoc on these shores. Of course, we put a few more bands under the pump this week, so catch up on stories from King Parrot, Windwaker, Eskimo Joe and more.
There’s a heap of tour news, including announcements from System Of A Down tribute band Chop Suey, Foo Fighters, Freedom Call and Snot, while this week we corner Zuko and Battlesnake as part of our ongoing weekly segment, the Frothy Dozen. There’s new music from The Gloom In The Corner, Dyssidia, Tawny Hawk and FIST to name a few, and HEAVY is proud this week to premiere the great new song from Sound Affliction.
With so many internationals coming to Australia, we thought it fair to give those bands their time in the spotlight as well, so catch up on new music, interviews, and reviews from Better Lovers, Dying Fetus, Cryptopsy, Architects and The Devil Wears Prada, plus cram in all your last minute research for Good Things, with the travelling festival kicking off in Melbourne today.
That should keep you out of trouble for a bit, and remember to take care of each other out there in the pit.
Stay HEAVY,
Krispy
