Brisbane melodic-hardcore band Headwreck have announced the release of their sophomore EP, Reflection Room, out Friday, April 7 and also share new single Shiver in the lead-up.
Shiver is the second single pulled from Reflection Room after last year’s Let It Feel release. Produced, mixed and mastered in-house by guitarist and clean vocalist Jamo Benadie, Shiver relates to feelings of cold companionship and a lack of intimacy that follows the loss of the warmth of mutual love.
Headwreck will play their new single live tomorrow night in Melbourne at AM/PM Emo Night with Starve, tickets available now.
Reflection Room tells a series of different stories based around human connection, with each song conveying a different situation. The EP expands on the ideas presented on the debut 2021 EP Glamorise Demise, amplifying richer instrumentals, heavier electronics and experimenting with more diversity across both the clean and unclean vocals.
