Sydney metalcore quintet Harroway share haunting new single Burn It All, as the second single to be pulled from the band’s debut EP, I Don’t Want To Be Here Anymore, out Friday, April 28.
Produced mixed and mastered by Mark Williamson at Keywork Audio (Inertia, Closure, After Touch), Burn It All slows things down a little bit, sharing a dynamic mix of clean vocals and powerful screams, lyrically exploring how entering a relationship without first working on oneself can be detrimental.
“Beginning a relationship without being in a healthy place yourself can sometimes lead to dependency on a partner for happiness and self worth, to the point where you potentially smother them and push them away,” explains vocalist Matt Banks. “Because you put so much value on the relationship for your own happiness, when they leave you feel as if there’s something wrong with you and begin to discard the good parts and change into something unfamiliar to survive.”
