The Festival that was scheduled to take place among 2021’s Halloween festivities in October and that COVID restrictions put a bullet in, will now celebrate all things spooky in April, just a few weeks shy of the celebration of that *other bloke* who rose from the dead.
Now, with a Queensland populace at 80%+ vaccination rate and open borders (and Hysteria and Mansfield Tavern abiding by all relevant Queensland Government health and safety regulations as of the event date), the HYSTERIA may begin!!!
Halloween Hysteria is today dropping a horror bomb on us all, with HEAPS of new bands and VIP goodies to share! Previously purchased tickets (that were not refunded) are still valid for entry. For the fans with undying patience, Hysteria has BEEFED up the VIP package with even more ghoulish goodies! New artists joining the line-up today are the mighty DISENTOMB, grunge supergroup LOSER, captivating violinist SOFIA ISELLA, ‘core maniacs SHE CRIES WOLF, hooded cloak aficionados MOUNTAIN WIZARD DEATH CULT, Halloween Hysteria royalty BARE BONES, and number one in the number two business, ARSE.
DISENTOMB is shoring up the metal warrior horde’s tilt for world domination—having toured with Aborted,The Black Dahlia Murder and Fallujah to name a few, their set will leave necks snapped in twain and horns raised for more.
You’ll still be able to see Aussie legends SPIDERBAIT, funk out with MAMMAL, don your ripped jeans for CLOWNS andbang your head along to KING PARROT. That, plus over 35 other spook-tacular bands! Unfortunately due to scheduling conflicts, Total Pace, To Octavia and Concrete Surferswill not be appearing.
In the lead up to the event, event partners Rebel FM and The Faction will be rockin’ radio rotations of tunes from the bands on the line-up.
