Share This:

The local race to play at this year’s Good Things Festival is heating up, with the first round of heats already taken place.

Brisbane saw Citadel get the nod over Lunchtime and Soulstate, while Sydney saw Ghost Complex move on to the next round after getting the votes over Harroway and Weightless, and Melbourne outfit Primitive edged out Something Something Explosion and The Absolution Sequence into the next round.

Tonight (Wednesday) sees Heat 2 commence at The Brightside in Brisbane with Apate, Headwreck and Tetrament squaring off, and at Stay Gold in Melbourne which features Starve, Reign Maker and Among The Restless.

The Burdekin Hotel in Sydney will host Bellwether, Wicked Things and Father Deer Hands on Sunday, November 13.

All bands are competing for one spot from each state to join the Good Things line-up.

The winner will be picked on a combination of votes from a panel of industry judges along with audience votes on the night to decide who goes through to the finals.

You will receive a token upon entry to vote with and for every beverage purchased at the bar (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), fans will also receive a token to place in the box of their choosing, so choose wisely!
