Eora/Sydney-based photography and videography studio Good Loco return in 2024 celebrating Australian Music Month with another helping hand to the music community, providing complimentary dry hire of their studio to independent artists across November.
In addition to their offer, returning in its third year, the senior management team (Rob Carroll, Nick Moran and Rick Bridgman) are adding artist career consultations post-shoot to the mix, to help guide them on their journey navigating the music industry.
Featuring one of the largest cycloramas in the Inner West, Good Loco studio is fully equipped with a diverse range of lighting gear, and is also fully fitted out with a make-up and dressing room, vocal booth, props on standby, bathroom, kitchen, green room with recreational facilities and a bar.
Rick Bridgman describes the motivation behind the program:
“The past few years we’ve opened our studio doors in Australian Music Month to help indie artists, and along the way, got to talk to some incredible acts, (some) in-depth, about what issues and challenges these emerging acts are experiencing. This year, post-shoot, there’s an opportunity to catch up with us properly (Rob, Nick or myself) to provide deeper guidance on taking their career to the next level”.
To claim the complimentary booking and consultation offer, artists simply need to head over to Good Loco’s ‘Aus Music Month’ page to register their interest here, input booking date and info and the team will come back with available sessions and times. Artists are encouraged to bring their own camera operator(s) or alternatively, the team at Good Loco can connect them with one of the photographers/ videographers for hire from their network.
